The trumpet is his chosen medium for expression, and he has spent much of the past 33 years getting to know it. The trumpet and its drivers have a reputation for being brash, pounding, and arrogant, but Gordon rather strives for a fluid lifting sound letting the power of the instrument speak for itself.
